2009 Canadian Federal Budget delivered January 27, 2009 has delivered tax savings for residential home contruction industry and first time buyers. Home Renovation Tax Credit (HRTC) save up to $1,350, first time home buyers tax credit to a maximum of $750 and finally increases to the Home buyers’ Plan for RRSP being used as a down payment on a home.
